National Corvette Museum Insurance (NCMI) began with an idea, an agent, and zero policies. What is has evolved into today is something the entire team takes pride in and strives daily to build and preserve.
Since its inception fourteen years ago, the growth of NCMI has been nothing short of incredible. Executive Director Adam Boca shares, "When the thought of creating a new insurance agency was brought to my attention in 2008, I was skeptical at first as the Museum had to maintain its valued reputation. Never in my wildest imagination did I think we would be where we are today. NCM Insurance has gone from zero policies to insuring more than a billion dollars in vehicles across the country.”
It has been an incredible journey thus far, and we want to sincerely thank our customers and supporters that have referred NCMI to friends, family, club members, and co-workers over the years. Because of you, we are growing at an extremely rapid pace and have outgrown our current 400 sq ft office at the Museum.
With another customer service representative and agent being hired on the team, we are excited to announce NCM Insurance has a new and improved office space. The Museum itself will always be our home and the heart of what we do, but with the current growth rate, we have run out of space and must expand. To help better serve our customers and sustain growth, NCMI has moved to a new location just ten minutes from the Museum.
The new office boasts an additional 2100 sq ft including room for seven extra employee workspaces, a conference room, storage space, a copy room, and a break room. We will continue to have a full-time agent located inside the Museum itself Monday through Friday. That office will now be located on Corvette Boulevard, inside the Library and Archives. We love meeting our customers face to face and sharing in the excitement of their delivery experience, so we wanted to be certain not to lose that in-house accessibility. Being onsite to assist walk-ins and answer insurance-related questions is extremely important to our business.
Adam also shares, "Leading this program from the onset has been an amazing experience. We have come a long way from the initial 120 square-foot space from where I started and have surrounded ourselves with an extremely talented team who genuinely care about our customers and the Museum. We have a great program that protects our customers when needed most, and this expansion will scale our team to service customers' needs at the highest level."
Our home will always be at the National Corvette Museum, and once a master plan is developed, we look forward to returning to the Museum's campus in the future. Since its inception, NCM Insurance wanted to clarify that we are not "just another insurance agency." When customers call, we want them to feel a personal connection and familiarity with the staff. By moving to a new, expanded location, we will continue to look for ways to improve the overall experience for customers.
